bought a 180 litre bio-type type thing (im not sure exactly) it was someones pride and joy, fully planted and scaped with about 9 pieces of bogwood, lots of very nice (nicer than lfs quality) fish, immediately threw out all the plants, put all the bogwood on a bonfire, filled with plastic plants...

males have bristles female have little - none

i have seen a couple of tanks that are exclusively fed on this, and both have bigger than normal sized fish! must be something about that particular food

fish used to go inside my filter all the time in my juwel, if they got in can they get out!?

think yourselves lucky try only having 3 or 4 lfs's with all the same stock, we dont get micro anything or monster anything :rolleyes:

i have 2 hagen tanks and neither of the lights work i think its quite a common problem

i jacked it in last year, 8 tanks and some fish id had for years. back up to 5 tanks again now lol just dont keep cichlids

try pressing f11 when its starting up if u dont have discs

maybe im missing it but what size of tank do you have and what filter? as your saying the poop builds up during a day..

in my experience they dont eat their young, you may find a fair few inside your filter though if you havent blocked the intake
