Sadly not, Defra and the like get very picky about things like that and, technically, they're illegal.

Saying that, there are a few around somewhere, but the owners keep very quiet about it for obvious reasons.
 
genetically modified. They've had a gene from another creature to give them the bright colours.

I think it's that live genetically modified creatures are illegal because we have no idea what would happen if they got out into the wild. So there will be plenty in the UK if they're being tested on in labs, but that's the only way they will be allowed in the country.

Genetically modified crops are different. In the sense that they are neccesary to keep people fed and they aren't going to kill a 'native' species if they 'get loose' lol.
