it's not 100 % acurate but you go by the lenght of the tail this is where it goes from double scales to single, the males tend to have longer tails and the feamle tend to have smaller tails CLare

yeah normal i have two normal bn and lots of babie albino BN;s now the normals i hardly see but the goldens dont care there always out !

how strange i have a breeding pair of kribs in my tank in the kitchen what have bred, and there have never once attacked my guppies, cory's or BN's :/

mine are on rounder gravel (trio of pandas and 5 bronze) and there fine

ok so here's my kitchen tanks, what are mine, then in the living room is my b/f's tanks, but he hasnt cleaned them yet so havnt taken any pics! my pair of convicts tank my main tank mixture of guppies, a pair of kribs, BN's clow plecs and 3 panda corydoras :wub: same tank again my baby...

what size Viriuam do you keeep yours in??

asagi, shusui and doitsu hariwake are common and fairly cheap depending on the quaality the higher the quality the highe the price !, i'm sure you will have a specialist koi seller in your area we have 7 !

i have 25 BN's 2 normal plecs and 4 Clown plecs spread over 9 tanks, there all babies at mo, but once fully grown some of the BN's will be going in spawning pairs

so why did you buy a poorly fish in the first place, and any decent fish shop wouldnt sell an ill or dying fish, there something wrong with this topic it smells fishy (pardon the pun)

have you tried to save him, or have you just given in, if the temp is high have you tried to lower it, are all the stats normal? if he is still alive isnt it worth trying to save him, instead of just goin oh well its just a fish :dunno:

actually RTC are quite peacefull to fish that are large enough its only a problem if there smaller, i have a RTCxTSH who lived happily with m'buna mouthbrooders, till he got to 10" and then he started eyeing them up so now lives alone.

:wub i love RTC i have a baby one and he's such a character, only if he knew how much money were spending building him a tropical pond so he can grow big and healthy and also happy ! Clare

wow makes me wish we are moved down to the lake, so i could get cracking with our fish room, ours is a porta cabin, it has a seperate kitchen bit to keep food and nets and stuff, then the main room what is going to house the tanks and the tropical pond for the large catfish! i cant wait i want...

there lovely, i hatchhed aload of my own quail chicks of a while a grow there are so cute at that age, i only have one male at the bottom of my avaity as his mate died of old age, but he did have ducklings to kep him company, as i hatched 7 duckilng of from eggss, there running around the garden...

your joking right? ofrfe grow very big i had one in my pond and he was about 18inches the ones i have now are all about 12 inches i really wouldnt recommend them for a tank!

it will get better i had a lovely tank in the kitchen it had endeler guppies, mollies, platties two breeding BN's and enougher BN and i lost all except the original BN in two days to something i was devasted, i closed the tank down and bought a new tank and started agin, chin up Clare

well that mine must not be P.Pulchers then as there have the fake eye on there tale, take a look at the picture and you will see it ! you tell the difference as the female has the scarlet belly, and the male has the longer fin what is slightly curved at the end

discus need a lot of care, if your lazy maybe stick to something a bit more tough that way you wont be just wasting your money

you must have jinked me i have simlilar stuff on bamboo in my baby tank, so it has been taken out and scrubbed, and popped back in and i will see how it goes, it's funny though as in my other two wanks that have bamboo in i havnt had a problem :dunno:

it could be a female BN but i'm not sure, nice fish though :drool:
