ok well nitrite level is ZERO now, amonia is the lowest reading that it could get to, took the tetras out and put them in another tank tank with more of their kind,
everything is shipshape....
i'll tell you if another fish dies... or somthing...
plus i did you my research, ive been keeping tanks like this for like 3 years now, and ive never had any problems..

when the loaches get over 2 incges i move them to a 50 to 70 gallon tank, the biggest one i have now is about.... 5 inches? (?)
o ya and GOOD NEWS!!!!!! turns out that my clown loach and my botia didnt die at all!!!!!!! (OMFG) somthing really weird happeened!!!!!!!! since there was no tank lid (there is a light) they both jumped out somehow and landed in one of the tanks thats below the one they were in!!!! (COOL!!!!) then again, (not so cool) because now i need to go get a tank cover, so they dont do this again.... so as it turns out, one of the guppies that dies had some kind of hump on its back (a disease myabe) can anyone help me with that? and the other one i think maybe died of the nippinest of the tetras whitch are long gone now.... so technically... only one fish died of my problems.... :dunno: and all the fish look VERY heallthy now in the tank... thankyou for your help everyone...

no lid? how do the plants get the light they need and how do you keep stuff from getting in to the tank? just currious could you tell us about all your other tanks and what kinds of fish and all.

there IS a light, just not a tank cover, one of those things that covers the entire top of the tank. i'll post my other tanks on different topics
