just found another pic on australian betta forum the dorsal is huge on this one.

i bought a pair of the dt cts from wasan. not the cheap though either! they are nice looking fish although the male is quite small. But yet the female is quite big. i dont think i'll be able to spawn them due to the big size difference Another guy is know got another CT DT pair from wasan too...

the have more than likely been polished with something that can harm fish. something to make them really shiny. i wouldnt take the risk even after boiling them. my fish mean to much to me :wub:

one of the members here (i think its sorrell but dont quote me on that) is allergic to them. the worms dont bother me though. what about when you feeding live worms and they squrim in your fingers :P hehehehe

unfortunatly they do still sell them, and most of them have bettas in them and like you said they dont live long :( poor little guys i like the idea that if you do take them home to adopt hem out like wuv was doing with her culls.

vt tend to be dominant so nearly all the fry would end up being veils. the female has red wash in her. you can tell by the red gills. if she was pure white her gills would be too. she is still very cute though.

as log as you dot put to much is it should be fine. salt and water changes are all i use for finrot, unless it gets really bad.

i swear by salt it is great on fin rot. as long as you dont use to much and follow the instructions.

have you tried giving frozen worms or live worms?? when my fish are feeling a bit under the weather tey will still always eat live food. as for the tail split try a bit of melafix, thats should do the trick
