I thought that, most tanks dont cycle in 20 days unless old filter media has been used and to have female bettas and angels in a very new tank is sometimes not a great idea. I'm not sure id add too many more fish tho.

I have seen corydoras alolfoi at my LFS priced at 2.39. IME, that is fairly cheap for this type. Corydoras sterbai are also commonly available, normally priced at 3.49.

A 20G tank is still far too small for a common pleco. They will reach 12inches in size and so for the sake of the pleco i would take it back to ur lfs. I'm not sure the 2 golden nugget plecos are a good idea, they can reach 12 inches and so one is too much for ur aquarium, let alone 2. I'd recomment a pair of bristlenose plecs instead.

Whilst most books will say they reach about 20inches, fire eels can reach 39 inches and really need to be the only inhabitant of a tank or at least in a species tank. Talking about tank sizes id recommend 150GALS minimum.

Yeah after reading ur advice i purchased 3 dwarf puffers which at the moment are 3/4 inch in length. They seem to be doing really well! Thanks for ur advice, ive put them into the well planted 50g with caves, the emptiest one.
