Yes they are compatible and get along fine, geophagus are a none agressive cichlid and will them the loaches alone or though i would adise getting large loches just in case the cichlids think they are food. I think mwm a member on this forum keeps both these fish as well.

thats strange, i used to feed mine everyday and they would always die, now i feed them once every 3-4 days and ive had them for over a year.

Rams and Butterfly cichlids are 2 differnt cichlids, butterfly cichlids are a little bit agressive while rams arnt, the males get to be about 6" and i dont know if they can go with gouramis :unsure:

I use betta care white spot it works great on my oscars and doesnt harm my ghost knife at all.

Yeah you can put them with other jurupari like cichlids and they shoul be housed in a 45g tank or larger, they arnt really agressive and can have a large range of tank mates. As for the plants they would eat them or rip them out.

Convert it to MPEG or WMP (windows Media Player) then it will work.

yeah they all have deformed mouths. Synirr im not being a smart ass here but im givieng you advise, that midas will rip apart your oscar with a year the oscar will not be able to stick up for its self once the midas knows the tank and figures out he is king, Midas and Red Devil tend to charge...

if you can get a trumac dude go for it! try and post a picture of it seeing as there alot alot of hubrids going around, but if its pure then get it.

Its a Midas im 100% sure on it, its not pure because it does have Red Devil Lips on it but your not going to find a pure midas in a LFS so i wouldnt worry about that. As for the tail part like ive said it could just be a mutant that was in line for a cull but some how made it to your LFS...

Nope, they are less agress by them selfs. You want an agressive tank then go buy these. 1 Male Convict 1 Firemouth 2 Blue Acaras 2 Jewel Try not to buy male and females because then the fighting will get out of hand and you may have deaths.

It died, it was a parasite im just lucky i got him out of that tank before the red devil was infected or any of the others.

Im on good terms with my LFS as well, but they try to lie to me to get me to buy things, im 110% for sure that is no blood parrot the marking are a Midas as well as the body and the head and mouth.

To be 100% honest Melafix does not one thing for fish, i chucked my bottle out! all it is, is tea tree oil witch i say shouldnt be put in tanks! my opion though guys. You want the best thing for your fish? water changes you cant go wrong with water changes, i do not condition or add anything...

Its cool, cons and oscars makes great tank mates along with sevs and blood parrots, they all get along fine.
