I checked out the deathbydyeing website and bettas were listed. I thought that they were naturally colored by selective breeding. I am wrong? BB

I believe that they are not putting warranty on their fish be/c they don't know what type a fishkeeping enviroment their fish are being sold into. So, rather that "screen and school" their customers, they are just not taking back dead/diseased fish. That's how it was once explained to me. BB

Well, I guess I am sensitive. I just wanted to know more about the fish and everyone just started talking about how hard they were to care for. Where do they come from? What's their natural habitat like? How are they kept? Are they a shoaling fish? Agressive? Dosile? Build nests? BEar live...

I didn't "get rid" of the algea. I cleaned the glass by wiping it away, vaccumed the rocks, and removed the decor, scrubbing it well in tank water. The algea is not harmful to my fish (lfs tell me) and I trust that my water levels are good be/c they say so as well. BB

LOL! I called the LFS and told them that they caused this reaction and they said that they were sorry. I wish they'd just had told why the water was blue instead. Here I am thinking that it was dyed to make the fish look pretty. I scolded them for it. LOL! They are probably laughing at me...

I picked up a cup with a dying fish in it and when I set it down a ew drops of water splashed me. Now two hours later I have dime sized bumps where the water touched me. UGh!!!! No wonder he died! What is in that water? Why was all their cups' water blue?
