hi i just got about 200 babys from the pond behind the library they are a mixture i believe of swordtails guppys and plattys.

no its a man made pond they built with a fountain. people who dont want there fish just go and drop them there.

Tropical fish wouldn't last to long in a pond in Ireland. The best temp we could hope for in the summer is about 75f and that would be a very hot day.

They just abandon them? Wow! I can't imagine how cruel that must be! Who cares for the "pond"? Are there other breeds of aquirium fish in there?

lol I see you live in Florida. I've heard its becoming a real problem down there with people releasing tropical fish into local waters. I think one of the mods posted an article about african cichlids in florida lakes a while ago. Not good, although it would be interesting to go to a local lake and see tropical fish.
