Well guys, I decided earlier today that I was going to breed the parents again ) I want a female dammit! Maybe even a spawn of twenty-ish,ehhh Think I'm aiming too high?
So ,I mosied into the room a little while ago, and found the larger two flaring, I pulled jars out of mid-air and yanked all three out,they're rather peeved but now I have an empty breeder

Thanks for lookin' at em I'd really like to do something with them,if possible. I like em alot ) I have a thing for ugly/beautiful creatures

Sulking is right! Laying on the bottom and such, what a sad, sad sight. I couldnt see the point in moving them to a bigger grow out since it's just the three of them and they're already 8 weeks.

its werid how even thogh they are very aggressive fish, when they live with each other or in a community, and r removed for a time, they get real sad

Thanks guys The third spawn was a success, I have tons of eggs but since Dad ate them last time I went ahead and pulled him at the same time as the female. He was doing a terrible job anyway, eggs scattered all over the floor and whatnot and he didn't even seem to care. *sigh* Boys

This will be the last spawn until after show season, provided it's a success of course.

The babies are still hanging in there. I've noticed one thing with each of these metallic spawns,they're eerily still compared to regular fatherless fry. There's a good dozen who've been sticking to the glass all day and night. I love that.

I'm dying to get in there to clean up the unhatched eggs,but I won't ...yet. I've also noticed more pure white ones than dark ones. Looks like I'll have more orange babies

Speaking of orange babes, that cute little superfreak from page one made his first bubblenest last night Then I destroyed it with a water change.
