The one in the back most of the time is the smaller one, I'd say he's about 6-7 inches, and the one in the front...the bigger one @ 8-9 inches

The loach approach is a better one. Get at least 3 loaches. I don't recommend clowns because they get bigger eventually, but I have skunk loaches that were cheap (75 cents a piece) and take care of my snails.

I would get more then three...as they said in this topic...they should be kept in groups.

I use Jungle Quick Dip. They sell them at Dr. Foster and Smith. They test Nitrate, Nitrite, Hardness, Alkalinity, and pH. You get 100 in the bottle...and good idea about cutting them in half fishman...idk why I didn't think of that! I'm gonna start doing that from now on :thumbs:

I just set up the lighting on my 75 gallon. Cost me a whole 15 bucks. I went to Home Depot and got a 4 foot shop light for 8 dollars, and the lights for it, 2 48 inchers, T-8, 32 watt, daylight (6500K) for 7 bucks. I also am making plexi hoods for all my tanks that don't have them...a sheet...

They are still in and out of all the anacharis and whatnot, but there's about 20 fry.

You could save it and edit it in photoshop or something, but I can't do it from here, sorry. Maybe it's your computer settings too because it's not that dark for me.

freddyk...I'm fairly familiar with cichlids. I have 4 angels, 7 convicts, and a green terror. My one friend also has a bunch of pseudotrophius zebras that I'm pretty close with. Those were actually a consideration for this tank because he has so many fry that he doesn't know what to do with...
