if you mean glofish tetra..which are white skirts,they arent newer per se, they just have the added gene to glo. read up on white skirts their behavior and care is exactly the same.

discus are the only peaceful large fish I can think of. but they like groups and are pretty needy and pricey. someone else could fill you in on their needs.ee you should up the schools on your fish or rehome them....or you could get a bigger tank. ooh gourmis are a nice idea.

the people here are very knowledgeable. they know the science as well as the art of it. i would say books,videos,and threads on here.. i find youtube to be very helpful for demonstrations. especially when it comes to aquascaping and things like that.

really?  everytime, i research them i hear they do better in more brackish water. which has always keeps me from considering them as tank mates...i migh reconsider a gold doubloon molly in the future.

hello.s   mollys require more brackish waters as opposed to platy who do not. also mollys get larger.

correct me if im wrong, i think that particular cichlid changes color as it becomes an adult.

does anyone have any bio orbs?  what size do you have?   do they function better as nano tanks? do the larger ones properly filter everything?   are they worth the price?   i saw a larger bio orb and i was smitten,but it seems it only functions with a airstone and lights.

i dont know how much 50 liters is. but if youre interesested in nano tank, i know people keep a few kinds of fish in there...like galaxy rasboras.

Maybe they would want to..theres a local fish shop around here that takes fry and fish people dont want,and he orders too but there is always a variety.
