My skimmer is playing up and wondering if anybody who has one can help me out. It is still making bubbles but no matter what i do with the airline the water level wont rise or move at all. The pump is still making bubbles when i look down the back but the skimmer isnt pushing water through and...

I wouldn't get overly worried about your ph mate .. stable ph is more important than it being low.. mine has been at 7.8 since the start of my tank and i have had no problems. Started mixing my own water recently with a decent salt so i'm hoping that will get my ph a tad higher.

The skimmer is 34cm from top to bottom and 23cm wide and does tanks upto 150 litres. Not sure on the LPH woody :unsure: cant seem to find where it tells you and cant seem to find it on the net.. Here are some pics anyway. Took a few to give an idea of size :)

I think he means how long do you run a powerhead in your fresh water before adding to tank .. not sure what is correct but i do 24 hours.. i have heard of many doing half as much and less :lol:

10% weekly should do the trick mate. Wouldn't do anymore unless there is a great need.
