starting to look great, in no time those plants will sprout up and causse a lot of algae probs. i suggest you get one chinese algae eater and 5 neon tetras, and you could probley add a durf gourami. that would make a great community tank setup. try posting some pics on your next updates. :kewlpics:

in my five gallon i have a honey gourami and 3 guppies, and a couple pond snails. i want to get one more fish that will behave in the 5 gallon and won't eat the snails, perferably a middle section fish? toodles!!!

well the green tiger barbs and the red tailed shark are in a totally different category then the gourami, are those picking on the gourami? if they are then when you added the new fish he attacked them, this is common if fish have been attacked constently, you just have to have time to let them...

IMO i think a green spotted puffer, i have one in my 10 gallon , i think he enjoys his room, but if his personallity changes i'll put in my furture 30 gallon. i have bearlly decorated tank with 1'' sand rock wit' hair algea- slowly dying, and a driftwood decoration. my puffer nevers stops...

you could go with a couple cory's, or maby a dragon goby, i plan on getting a drogan goby for my future 30 gallon, they are so neat.

they aren't fancy guppies, they are feeders, they have red neon blue and a blackish color,

well i got alouance today-$10, i bought one honey gourami, and the guy there gave me 7 free pond snails to feed to hitler, and 3 guppies, but tomorrow i'm getting one apple snail and my 5 gallon is complete.

the knife might cut up the gourami into cubes and eat him, lol. for real.

any thing special to keep my gourami in good health, i have it in a 5 gallon for life, i feed him tropical fish flakes, his tank companions are one pond snail, soon to turn to a million snails :shifty: , three guppies, and i'm going to pick up one apple snail ( they cost 3.99 us dollars, damn...

yay! i finally got a new addition to my 5 gallon, i know it was a little early for this but i just bought a male honey groumie, he is so awsome, i also got free rhams horn snail to feed to my puffer, he loves thoughs snails. :rolleyes: all of my fish are doin great, just thought i'd share.

i got a nother cat but no pictures of it tell christmas.

my puffer has close to 60 spots, i counted and got 57. i thought that my puffer had a lot more spots than other's puffers, do these spot morphe together to form less spots, or do they keep the same amount their whole lifes?

thats' easy, males are smaller than the females and are usually 1'' big, while the females are about 1.5'' big and a little fatter. and yes they are spawners.

i agree, the reason for the fish moving around so much is probley they are in shock, when some fish get shocked they don't know about anything going on, they will swim straight to an agressuir', mabey you fish's are trying to fullfill they tiny little lives by exploring the tank before they dye...

well if you have a big enough tank you can get 1 or 2 iredesent sharks, they look neet and are quite active. but you have to have a big tank, these guys get 30 inches.

i would say take out the pleco when it gets at least 7'', and might consider putting your betta into a seperet tank. after you do that you could easily get 6 neons- that would add some nice coloration to your tank. :nod:

well if it snapped off then you can conect the end part with the other part that has the end thing.... :lol: ok, but if by like it better you meen they are moving around ore it might be because there is a lact of oxygen, you don't really have all that many plants to produce enough oxygen for...

i just got a magnetic glass cleaner thing today and used on my 10 gallon and worked perfect, then i thought about using it on my plastic 5 gallon, it sratched tho whole thing up, all you see are scraches. this is a warning to all of you think about using on a plastic tank, never never use it. oh...
