choosing groumie

ok i have a 5 gallon and need an idea for a good pair of groumies to go in it, i don't want them to be attacking apple snail fry or the apple snails i'll be adding.... thank you!

Gouramis love to eat little snails!! Why not try a few cory cats?

Maybe one Sparkling Gourami. They are beautiful and stay very small.

A sparkling gourami sounds like a great fish for your 5 gal. I never heard of this fish before reading the link you attached, I've never seen one at any lfs. Are they hard to find?

maybe a honey gourami!! I have 2 lil ones (well actually one is in another tank cuz he is sick) but the 1 I have in my 20 gallon is awesome!

well i got alouance today-$10, i bought one honey gourami, and the guy there gave me 7 free pond snails to feed to hitler, and 3 guppies, but tomorrow i'm getting one apple snail and my 5 gallon is complete.

they aren't fancy guppies, they are feeders, they have red neon blue and a blackish color,
