Tina's Twin Bommies

I think Seffie that I have about 20-25kg in the tank at the moment plus some LR rubble in the first section of the sump. I think the big tank is going to need another 25-30kg minimum.

Typically, just before I am ready for this rock, there have been a few real bargains in my area on LR, from that site we like the classified section on.

I am also presuming Seffie that you will want him on the screensaver. I can get at pictures I have on photobucket and it does not seem to affect the quality so you can have some of those on there too. Will need to start work on that soon, will be getting one or two more fish for now until the bigger tank arrives and is set up.

I am going to make sure the rock has undergone any cycle in the new tank before switching over too, then I will gradually move stock across.

Also will be picking up the last set of Interpet PC's I need for the 6 fter on Friday, someone bought some on UR and they don't fit his tank, he's not far away and I had already said I wanted them, getting them for the same price he paid, so thats good news.

That Barney is the law of Murphy. I do like the spotted aswell, just don't have the wow of the striped I think. As long as you get healthy, its what you can get your hands on that ends up in the tank.

I am umming and ahhing now as to whether to phone the aquatics place tomorrow.

Oh indeed, how could he be left off

So, you big girl tank will be running with approx 60 k of LR, so 30 k each, sorry have to think in lbs, so that is about 66lbs each fish - I assume then that you are going to be adding pods each week then as doesn't one fish need 90lbs to sustain enough pods? or do you hope that you will be able to supplement with frozen etc?

Going to watch closely as I would love to have a pair :)lol: what am I saying, I would be watching closely anyway :kana:)

I would have said the Frogspawn was a Torch, but that's gone un-questioned... So, what difference between the two have I missed? :usnure:

It is a loverly piece either way, and it recovered from the transit quickly

All the best

Its the branches having many many bobbles that make the whole look like "frogspawn". Torches and hammers may have the odd branch but generally have one polyp end to each polyp. The Torch for example has one bobble on the end of a polyp and the hammer a hammer shape per polyp. The frogspawn will have mulitple balls per polyp.

Sorry if that sound daft, just tried to explain as clearly as possible and it seems a bit muddy.

Oh yes it has been questioned Rabutt :p I said the same thing from the picture on fishmans frags - but was proved wrong when it arrived, Tina has said it has the little branching bits on the end of the polyp with multiple 'balls', I know, not very technical is it

There are a few polyps without multiple balls, but you should see now that most have 2 if not 3. I think they get extra as they grow. This is a frag don't forget.

Closer

Looking a lot better today, fully recovered and expanding beautifully.
