Fluval Vicenza 180

This is the one Tizer, http://www.aquariumplantfood.co.uk/fertilisers/dry-chemicals/starter-kit/ei-starter-kit.html

I have been using this for nearly a month i think and its cost me about £1.50 instead of silly money !

Seems to be working fine for the plants.

What about the one i linked to LP? Would that be any good? I'm assuming it is a similar setup to the Ei thing?

Not sure about it minnt as i have never used it so i cannot compare im afraid. The ingredients may be different and so on.

Ordered it now, so it's too late. Can't see it doing any harm really, just want something that will give it a bit of a helping hand and hopefully keep them looking healthy. Lighting is going to be brought down to roughly 7 hours a day if that is adviseable?!

Let us know how it goes with the ferts and lights. I run my lights from 18:00 till 23:00 so 5 hrs a day.

Started dosing with ferts today. Went for this stuff in the end, Green Low. I suspect it is some sort of EI fert as it came as a powder. Mixed it with a litre of water and it is claimed to dose a 200 litre tank for a year, so i have worked that out at 2.7ml per day which is what i am dosing for mine which is 180.

I will report of any improvements or problems that i come across in the future. Seems decent though, surely got to be better than not dosing anything at all?!

Im sure it will help out. Maybe take a snap of the tank now and another in a week as to compare ?

Hope it works for you buddy, look forward to updates.

Also got my 305 back up and running on it along with the ex1200. Water is looking super clear again now. :) Hoping to be getting some more Vallis next week sometime aswell which should really fill it up :D

It's ok having all these plants, but there is waaaaaaaaaaaay less space for fish

Quick picture from a couple of days ago. A few plants have been moved since, but you get the general idea.

Looking good Minnt. The plants are looking healthy in that image from what we can see. Will be good to see what the ferts do :)

I like the piece of wood that goes across the top, that moss would look great with more it across the whole piece.
