Yup, a water conditioner is all you need to add to your tank, everything else is irrelevant, unless it is a med or something.

true yeah i had to buy that stuff cause 2 of my LFS were out of stock i could not even get standard chlorine neutralizer

Well, that stuff should work.

Anything that takes out chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals is be a good water conditioner.

cool i might just keep using this stuff then i dont see no harm

i wiil have next readings in about 1/2hr-45mins

after2 w/c's my readings are

ammonia: .25pmm
nitrites: 0pmm

i just cleaned my filters and aded some aqaucycle(bacteria) i didnt get a chance to do a w/c but im thinkin of leaving it fora day to let the aquacycle
try and kick in hopefuly it will start producing nitries,nitrates. fingers crossed

Aqaucycle is another one of those gimmicks.

The only thing ever proven to help cycle a tank was bio-spira, but that was discontinued a couple years back.

But hey, you never know, you might get lucky!

Patience is the name of the game.

Don't worry, once it is all over you will be very excited!
