when breeding bettas, do they prefer light? i have a 5.5gallon breeding tank on my shelf and the light takes some of the room and with removing it'll allow me to arrange things easier....

he'll be fine with a 2gallon, just make sure you do the water changes though :)

as i saw around, many breeders have a barrack system that can hold up to 70 bettas +. i would like to make the same thing, but except i want something that can hold at least 15-20 bettas. can someone who has built a barrack before, lead me to a way on what should i buy and get to accomplish this...

i house my bettas in different jars, but i am buying 70 64oz deli cups for $30.00 and will house juveniles and some adults from their. wuvmybetta, that link that you posted is it 400 jars for $50.00 ?

their is a great whole sale place in new jersey, they are called heavenly fish and they sell bettas for cheap, crowntails can range from $1.50-$3.50

wow, shes really big, you should try my plan let her in the community tank for 1 day, then quickly move her to the breeder net and the next day she should give birth, it's happened to me 2 times with my green female swordtail.

you can keep it frozen for a couple weeks, umm, i would get 1 pack and it should last for a couple weeks

i don't normally use airpumps any of my tanks, but i use it to give the water more air(oxygen) when ever i do water changes.

bettas are usually kept at room temperature, their pH is around 6.0-6.5 is what i believe, about 3/4 a gallon to a gallon. i would prefer hikari bio-gold pellets, and sometimes frozen blood worms...i would at least feed 2-3 pellets 2 times a day, water changes can be from 3-5 days or 1 week...

well, basically the ct pair will produce cts... as the look of it and for the plakat pair, it would be more male plakats and some female and male veiltails i'm not sure, it also depends on the past generation of both fish too. good luck
