I think you should really carry on treating Ich for a few days after you see the last spots as it could still be in their systems even though you can't see anything.

Personally I'd never use a bleach solution no matter how weak! I have used specific aquarium interior cleaner when I've needed to.

Eheim aquaballs are by far the best internal filter I've ever used.

Yes if you wanted to swap them over you just take the media out of the one currently in there and put it into the new one.

Hey there, did you end up getting an aquaball? I used to have one and I loved it, no problems with it at all and easy to clean. I'm in the process of setting my tank back up again now after a house move and will definately be using another aquaball.

Well my tank doesnt have fish in it yet -_- , hell - it doesnt even have water in it yet :X I've just moved house but rest assured it will be up and running again real soon. Anyway, here's my pics...

Is there any chance of getting a photo of the patch? My female bristlenose is pale/pinky underneath but she has always been this way and I thought it was normal?

My fella has a big green lobster on his leg :crazy: That leyring reminded me of an intricate fish tattoo I saw at the parlour where I got my last one done, it was like a traditional fish shape but drawn like a labyrinth (as in maze).

I think the underside of a plec would be good so you can see the mouth ets, it would look like they were on the inside of you sucking onto your leg or arm or whatever.

All of the fish designs I've seen in tattoo parlours have been on either Koi's or bettas :rolleyes:

I only feed my fish once a day anyway!!!! I used to feed twice a day when I was a complete noob but for the last 12 months they've only been fed once a day.

Glad to hear everything was OK on your return Chooky!! I've left my fish for a week before just having someone come around once to feed them while I was away. I agree with everyone else in that if the fish are healthy there should be no problem.
