I dont think you'd find many chinese people cooking or eating one of these, arowana's are considered to be lucky fish and killing one is believed to bring untold bad luck.

This ones about 20" long.

not a gar, arowana's are completely different species. This one is a Australian arowana.

That pattern on him is awsome! Looks better then a silver arow, but maybe thats because i never saw a silver one with a pattern
