Fish tatoo's

I think a trigger fish (clown or picasso) would be cool, you could also look into a peacock bass, an eel (fresh or salt) or maybe a Tarpon (I know they grow too bid for a tank) but the fact they have big scales on them would look pretty cool. You could do all kinds of salt fish (bright colors). An octopus would be a neat one, or even starfish. I also think mantis shrimp and lobsters would be a good idea. I would also like to see lunar or dragon wrasse, and of course a lion fish would be fine. A dolphin fish (Mai Mai) would also look good on a person due to it's coloring.
Just throwing out ideas of course....Also I think a emperor tang (most tangs actually) would look good also.

That leyring reminded me of an intricate fish tattoo I saw at the parlour where I got my last one done, it was like a traditional fish shape but drawn like a labyrinth (as in maze).

What a great topic! I've thought about it too.... I think just a plain fish may not look the best, but I think a colorful, abstract fish tattoo could look really cool! I get a picture in my head of long exagerated fins... I'd love to see your art work!

pica you beat me to it. Yes the veil tailed oscar would look awesome. I don't remember who's avatar it is but someone has an avatar that says betta porn on it and it's two betta's mating. That would be a cool tattoo.

I think if you could come up with a design using somewhat stylized fancy tailed guppies, that would be nice looking. I've really only seen the koi and fighter fish types myself. My co-worker has gorgeous stylized koi tatt.
