I dont think i could do that :sad: , im gonna try to keep them i was asking for help on caring for them anything i need ill get its just i dont know where to start

i just got a male and female for my new 5 gallon divided tank today, after i had put them in i had to go out for a bit. when i came back my female had jumped over the divider and they were mating. so now i have alot of fry coming and i have no idea what to do i was never planning to mate them so...

i wouldnt i would be glad for the advice. its not about the owner its about the betta

if you put it on deviantart.com and make it into a print they will sell them as mouse pads buttons and all that other stuff

they dont fight to the death either, they just fight untill on is ovously domonant and then they get really good care. i still dont aprove of it though

if you use a divider that isnt see through it should be fine

here is my setup im planning on getting some new things for it.

i was at the pet store today with my little cousin and she wanted to go over and see the betta fish. as normal they were in a sorry state there were 2 males in the same cup and about 3 were dead and had been rotting for what looked like days, i cleaned the cups and seperated the 2 males and went...

im sorry to hear that, it sounds like he had a happy life with a very dedacated owner

if you are going to put posters up dont start flaming them or else they will just rip them down if you should just out up fliers to show how bettas should be properly taken care of and the customers will probably make the distinction between the right way and the their way :nod:

i have been feeding my betta fish freze dryed blood worms for every meal i read that this is unhealthy but he wont eat the betta flakes what should i do?

i tryed putting a mirrior up to the glass bet he just swims up and tries to make friends with his reflection, he dosnt seem very agressive :D

he wasnt in very good condition when i got him. i had to rescue him from my friends mom who was keeping him in a really small wine glass. she didnt want to clean it or evan feed him so she gave it to me half starved to death, but after being in his new tank he has gotten alot more healthy. here...

i guess it just depends on the beta some are lazy (like mine) and dont need 5 gallons and are just as happy with 2

alot of pet stores only keep there betas in about 6oz of water
