My First Betta

hey everyone, i just got my first betta fish ever today and i was wondering of you guys could tell me what type of tail he has or just give some advice

he looks like a VT. But I can see his tail well. He is adorable though

He's gorgeous! Maybe if you can get him to flare (hold a mirror up to the side of his tank)... and take a pic - we can see his tail better to see what kind of betta he is. Love his colour! Congratulations!!

Hard to tell from that pic but I think its a damaged VT

I agree with zoe, he looks like he has damaged tail, probably a veiltail.

he wasnt in very good condition when i got him. i had to rescue him from my friends mom who was keeping him in a really small wine glass. she didnt want to clean it or evan feed him so she gave it to me half starved to death, but after being in his new tank he has gotten alot more healthy.

i tryed putting a mirrior up to the glass bet he just swims up and tries to make friends with his reflection, he dosnt seem very agressive
