I have some, they came along with Boraras briggitae and Boraras merah too as they're commonly mixed, but they're pretty outgoing, in my tank anyway, they're with Ember Tetras, Dwarf Gourami's, Panda Corydoras and a Bristlenose pleco and are the most out going fish in the tank, really pretty too.

That's providing the contents can suspend themselves, add another 50-100Kg for Tank, stand hardware etc.

It's fine. The Spec is such a nice tank too, though the TMC microhabitat which is a little bigger and has better lighting is a nicer tank in my opinion.

Feed what works for you is my advice, I don't see the point in shelling out for expensive foods when you don't need it, your fish will be fine with plain old fish food.

Aquafluer plants are imported from Europe so shouldn't cause problems, they're potted and have labels, if they were bunched however then you may have a problem as some bunched plants come from Asia. I doubt MA would have added chemicals to kill snails though.

Adding Carbon would get rid of it, putting the shrimp in a copper free solution in the mean time would be a good idea too, it can take quite a while to completely rid the tank of readable copper.

My guess is the plants were treated with copper or a similar insecticide which is toxic to invertebrates.
