LOL YEAH I KNOW THEY CAN BE TROUBLE CANT THEY :l MY COUSIN HAS ONE AND HE KEEPS IT WELL FED ON BLOODWORMS. HASNT ATE HIS GUPPIES YET OR HIS DWARF PUFFER :)

You have a frog in there? Where is its landing. Frogs need access to dry land.

Tom

Aqua Tom the frogs are entirely aquatic. And hahah yeah just watch out for it! Keep him well fed and you might be alright, just keep an eye out :)

Mine's definitely overstocked but a temp tank. Will see how I'll fix this problem soon (next week).
The overstocking: 2 teenage swordtails (male and female) and 1 Hoplo catfish of about 15 cm I think. Not sure exactly what kind of Hoplo he is. I'd say Thoracatum, but he has the pectoral fins with some corners at the tips pointing backwards, somewhat like a jet plane. He is unlike any other Hoplo I've had, those never had those weird tips.
The aquarium: 23L.

YEAH ITS TRUE AC FROGS ARE ENTIRELY AQUATIC. AND THE TANK YOU SEE NOW IS JUST TEMP. I AM CURRENTLY WORKING ALONG SIDE A TANK DESIGNER TO TURN THE TANK INTO A PLANTED PARADISE. OR ATLEAST ALOT BETTER THAN IT IS NOW. ITS AT MY GIRLFRIENDS HOUSE SO HAD TO PUT CUTE THINGS IN LOL. BUT WE HAVE AGREED IF SHE CAN HAVE THE ELEPHANT FISH AND SOME PRETTY RED PLANTS I CAN DO WHAT I WANT. HAHA

If there's a problem with your tank, it's not the overstocking, it's the poor stocking.

Clown loach, pakistani loach, silver shark, glass catfish and rainbow fish are all shoalers and should be in groups of at least 6. Elephant fish need dimly lit tanks with a very soft substrate and really should be in a specialist set up.

But I'm sure you're going to say that everything's fine and all the fish are happy...

It's hard to believe no one has mentioned your potential problems yet.
Here's what you'll need to do. First you'll need to add these:
2 more harlequins
4 more rainbows
5 more Pakistani loach.
Here's what you'll need to rehome:
The silver shark MUST go
The clown loach
The glass cats (or you can add 4 more of these and rehome the rainbows)
What type of plecs are they? If they're bns after you do this all should be fine. Also what type of filter do you have?

Looks like fluttermouth beat me to it but I still threw in my advice.

LOL AT THE CAPS LOCK.. they dont have to be kept in groups of 6. its just they tend to do better this way. and yes i feel my fish are very happy. my rainbow fish had almost no colour when i got them. now they have brightened up loads. ( im not saying they have matured overnight or anything though ) as for my clown loach and pakistan loach. they both hide in the same cave together. come out together more poften that not. and both seem to enjoy the company of the rainbow fish. the glass catfish are feesing really well and i have plans to get some more. and i know the elephant fish prefer sand ect. he hides in the cave on the right hand side of my tank and i feed him on bloodworms. he may not be in the best suites tank but he settled in just fine and im hoping he is happy enough to live long.

i wont be buying anymore harlequins until im sure my parrot fish wont eat them. one went missing so possible problem there. and i do also plan to get more rainbows once there clour has matured properly and i can tell male from femal. the clown loach doesnt have to go. i should add more if anything. the silver shark doesnt have to go. they are peacfull timid community fish
