They actually look identical to mine when I first got them,the darker one stayed the same,mostly brown,and the light one went almost totally orange apart from the fins.So will be interesting to see how yours go

I think I found the hiding spot,a little hollow on the backside of my bogwood,not gonna disturb it until I can make a more viewable hidey hole for them.I've seen 3 at the same time,so I'm hoping they all get more outgoing without me changing things too much.

I just give them a quick salt water bath then rinse in tank water,always worked for me and no messing with chemicals

Green neons if you can find them are great,lively and different color depending on where they are in the tank.I'm gonna try for a HUGE shoal 60+ when I get my big tank running again

I put 9 in my planted tank,and occasionally see 1 or 2 :( are they escape artists?experts at hiding? Nothing in the tank is big enough to have eaten them,and I haven't found any corpses in the tank or filter
