What are you doing today?

Just finished setting up a new betta tank. And now I'm going to eat a nice juicy rib eye.
Ahhh, rib eye! The only true cut of steak. All the rest are just solid hamburger. ;) Just don't understand the attraction of a filet. I mean when you need to add fat such as wrapping in bacon to give any flavor why bother? :dunno: Now take a well marbled rib eye and the fat renders out leaving a bunch of flavor behind.

Or, with a bit of rope, those antlers could be used to hang him out to dry. ;)

You're killing me. I'm having surgery tomorrow (nothing serious) and I can't have any solid foods today. Combine that with several hours working a rotary sander and I would just about kill for a good rib eye. With cheesy hash browns. And a big salad. And a cold Fat Tire. And a big bowl of rocky road...

The rib eye was amazing. Had some roasted rosemary potatoes and a caesar salad with it.

I'm being nosey and listening to a late night audio drama from my room presented by my neighbors 👀 (wow they yell pretty loudly)

I've been using hydrogen peroxide to spot treat BGA in my tank weekly before I do a water change and it works WONDERS

Well, @Geoffrey, I finally got my steak. Dug some tbones out of the freezer, beef we got from some friends that ranch up on the Sweetwater river, and charcoal broiled them. Served them with cheese browns (hashbrowns with chunks of sharp cheddar melted into them) and a salad. Life is looking pretty good right now. :)

I’m glad you finally got your steak! I’m hungry now.

I hope you’re well out of his way and think there’s a new painting in the works.
I was about 25 feet away. I’ve been waiting to see this guy for weeks, staying up at night and checking when the motion sensor goes off. He’s been eating the fruit from the trees just outside my window and it took me this long to find him!

Today I gave tiny live BSFL to my betta during lunch and at dinner, I used small live brine shrimp. I'm still waging war against cyanobacteria from my betta tank, also.

Here in Brazil, Volkswagen operations here will turn its 70th birthday. The car was known here as "Fusca". Thanks to the vehicle, Volkswagen cars were known for decades reliable and cheap to maintain, with suspension resisting poor roads (in the 1950s we had almost nothing on paved roads).

After Germany, Brazil was the first country to receive a VW plant.
