Well I went out to get a bit more CUC today I got 5 more red legged hermits and 5 more snails I think these are turbo snails instead of astreas but are still v small so by the time there big ill have upgraded I also got a sally light foot crab what a great little guy this is ill post a pic. SO my clean up crew is as follows:

5x astrea snails
5x turbo / astrea snail
4x cerith snail
1x Nassarius snail will be adding 4 more when I can find some.
10x red legged hermits
1x sally light foot crab.

I want to add:
2x Skunk cleaner shrimp
2x Peppermint Shrimp
1x Boxer shrimp
1x Emerald Crab
But I will wait till the tank matures abit more before I add the shrimps.

Where are you getting your cuc from?

I got some at maidenhead aquatics in st Albans and some at wildwoods.

For cuc i would got to Watford AQUARIUM they do good deals and are cheaper than maidenhead.

I phoned watford aquarium they didnt have much in when I called.

Yeah its a pretty small shop so stock runs out fast bu tthey are very good.

Cool what are they like price wise for corals?

Right I have now got new lights I decided the Arcadi I bar wasnt giving out enough light for the corals I wanted to keep so i have invested in an Arcadia over tank luminare I have 2x 14000k white bulbs and 2x 420 actinic blue here is a few pics:

Coral prices are good. They do frags and large corals.
Better than maidnehead.

Yeah its really bright im well chuffed what sort of timing do you think I should have my lights on for??? I was thining on at 7am then from 1pm till 3pm just actinics the 3pm till 7pm all lights then 7pm onwards just actinics

I have mine running from, actinics turn on at 10, then my other white and blue (cos i wanted a bluer tank) comes on at 11am, then whites turn off at 9 and the actinics at 10pm. i would not go on full lights straight away as this causes stress on fish and def dont turn one set off during mid day will comfuse both fish and inverts.

I love my Arcadia Overtank Luminaire but a word of caution, one of my clowns went 'over the top' for a carpet surf
So I've leaned my Juwel flaps against it which also has the advantage of stopping you getting dazzled when your sitting near it and hides the hob skimmer ..... Does make it look like its got a barn roof though

Been keeping an eye on your posts looking good , its a bit different to keeping cichlids i have a nano just started makes me feel like a beginner again

Yeah its all a bit crazy I rescapped all the rock work tonight and scrubbed all the green algea off and upped the rowaphos its looking murky at the minute. I also discovered half an eaten hermit out of its shell not sure who had it away???

Here is my new aqua scapping I moved the rock from the sides and added a bit more space to add corals.
