As posted elsewhere I had to move the tank from one side of the room to the other. I wish it was as straightforward as it sounds :/ Anyway, ended up doing a slight rearrange of decor and thinned out some of the plants. The fish seem a lot happier now and as such are out and about a lot...

I'm new myself but from what I have learned so far I think 4 clowns may be a little optimistic in a 100ltr tank. I'm sure someone more experienced will be along shortly to confirm or shoot me down in flames :) I know I wanted clowns but having seen some 6" ones today at the LFS I can see why...

Swallow Aquatics near me stock loads of bow fronted stuff of varying sizes so I dont see any reason why their other branches would be any different. There's one in East Harling which is up your way I believe. :) Swallow Aquatics HTH :)

I've got 5 silvertips and they are rarely schooled together except in times of need. For instance they usually get on fine with my rainbows, infact they all hang out together, but when the most dominant rainbow chased the smallest silvertip into some plants the other day the rainbow shot back...

Hmmmm, maybe the current thing wasnt such a straw grasping. I've just changed the filter outlet from the spray bar to the directional spout and it seems to have sorted it. I think. -_- We shall see.

I was ecstatic when I tested first thing in the mornig on the day the nitrite was zero. I even went and woke up Em, my wife, to tell her. She was less ecstatic :whistle: :lol:

Theres a good reason for that. :/ I have a knack of being able to kill plants, under or out of water. Honestly I'd be the first person to kill aquarium plants by over watering them :rolleyes: Cheers for the noms as well guys. :)

After the last 4 weeks looking at a bare tank it is soooo good to have fish. 24" 25g tank now contains 6 praecox rainbows & 5 silvertip tetras :cool: , so far :) And boy the silvertips are difficult to catch on camera :crazy: :D :D :D
