Yay new fishies

I just got back from the lfs today. I was looking for boesemanni Rainbows, and some rasboras, which of course they didnt have. The rainbows are supposed to arrive in 3 weeks. So instead I got another angel, and boy what a cuttie. And an Id shark. I guess it all worked out well, cuz by the time Iv had these 2 in quarentine for 2 weeks, my rainbow will only be another week away. yay. My new shark is very cute 2, although he seems sort of dumb. By dumb I mean that he keeps running into the glass.lol I just hope he doesnt hurt himself. I guess hell calm down after hes used to his new surroundings. Does anybody know anything about them? I dont really, because all the research Iv done lately has been on rainbows, and rasboras. Im going to go surfing now to see what I can dig up. B)

52 inches. OMG I cant beleive she would sell me that fish. This store has been very good in the past. I guess thats what I get. I did all this research and decided what I wanted, but when I got to the store they didnt have what I wanted. Thats what I get for picking one based on cuteness I guess. I will have to see if they will take him back.

Before you panic, you might call the store and see if, in fact, what they call an ID Shark is an iridescent shark. I agree that is propably is, but some places have some pretty odd designations/local names for different fish.

Perhaps it is just a Freudian thing

Well good news. Little id is back at the fish store. They even gave me a store credit, which is good. Never again am I going to get a fish I havent researched, just to get one. I just got too impatient I guess. Seeing as this was my first actual fish purchase. All my other fish have been inherited. So I got carried away. I think sharky is better off though, because I just couldnt give him the home he needs, and deserves. I probably had room for 1 but getting him friends was out of the question. And now I know he needs friends. He was soooo cute though. Im off to resume my quest for rainbows.

I found my Rainbows. The bosemani they had didnt look so great but then I saw the Parkinsoni Rainbows. I left with 3 of them and a huge smile on my face. My quest is complete for now. They are soooo cute lol.
