As long as it is relatively warm you should see some bubbles. I'd suggest emptying out the mix, and trying again. Use lukewarm (not hot) water to make the mix up, that may help activate it. If that does not work, then use the recipe on these forums (in the pinned articles above). Not only is it...

Morning Dani, It does not really matter which tube goes where. As long as the tank is recieving a mixed spectrum of light your plants will be OK :)

I saw some 'in action' at one of my LFS's.....it looked a bit odd IMHO. It was larger then I imagined it would be, and The bubble rate seemed really violent :blink: but maybe they just had a massive air pump attached to it :D

A great, less toxic, way to do it is to wash the plants in Milton sterilising solution (normally used for baby bottles). Then rinse in tapwater. It is gentle enough not to worry about any residues, but kills the algae off and leaves the plants looking like new without fading them at all...
