I've managed to get some silicone on the outside glass of my tank, and am finding it impossible to remove

I've tried using a stanley knife blade, which got rid of most of it, but there is still a very thin layer that is irritating me beyond belief....I need to get out more!

Is there any other way of getting it off the glass...any chemical that will remove it?

Cheers

John

Did you use a snap off stanley knife of the actual loose blade by hand at an angle ?
I've done it successfully before and finished off under hot vinegar water with a scourer.

A NEW craft(stanley type) blade should remove it. Finish off with a drop of vinegar on a clean cloth, then polish with a clean dry one.

Excellent - thanks for the replies B)

Used a different craft blade to get the worst off, and will try the vinegar trick later on...
