The tea tree oil is not usually too harsh on your skin. it is a natural astrigent, used a lot for facial acne or breakouts. You could just be having a reaction to it.

My filter is an intank, so for right now I have it sitting in some aquarium water in the bucket I use for water for the tank. The bucket is covered as well so no dust gets in it.

I like the Tetra, very pretty. I can't wait until they can be bred. It is horrible what they do to the rainforest though, there is so much unknown out there, and people just cut it down like it was nothing.

I hope it is not agression, as I have all tetras and they are usually really nice to each other. I am glad to hear that fin rot can be easily cured. I guess they didn't like the water change. :-( I'll have to wait until morning to get some medication for them. How long until their fins grow...

it is not that one. The one I got there is in a 1gal tank. by itself. This is one of the ones I had for a while. Scales look normal, it is the same as usual, nothing is out of the ordinary.
