ok, i have a 55 gal BIGBOX store tank. what model of said superskimmer would be best the 65 gal or the 125 gal skimmer? there is only a $34.00 difference between the two.

do you know if they are availablie in the states?

any suggestions on a new skimmer a good, long term, quality skimmer, that wont break the bank. i just need function and stashability. i'm going to use it as a hang on tank.

i dont know if they are related but i have things that look like feather duster stalks but do not and never had the feathered mouth. the do however spit a spider web type stuff when they are disturbed or when im feeding.

star polyp are like baby poop or yellow mustard. they spead on everything they touch. star polyps are a lot nicer to look at though

the last thing is ,a starburst polyp. mine are the same color (white bases) when they are new or young polyps after they start to get more in the colony the center most stalks will turn purple.

question for Navarre, or anyone else that might know. if you have a mech filter that is rated for a higher capacity tank could this cause a higher nitrate count? that is could the larger area in the canister cause more nitrate production due to the increases bactiria count?
