Yah My Albinos Have Spawned!

That last method looks oddly familiar! :D
There's quite a few at the bottom of the net,so rather than put them all on top on each other,i popped some on the glass(around 50),i do this every now & then if the fry are small in the tank...they were getting munched with the older juvis

I keep looking at my corys thinking they are going to be at it again soon with all this rain we are having this month, no more room!

Found a Roma 125 on ebay near me, no bids yet, hoping it stays that way so i can put an offer in when the auction expires :)

Sounds good :good: good luck with the auction :)

I think the albinos tired themselves after exploits this morning, they're chilling atm

Oh dear, i wish i hadnt said anything earlier, i got home to find around 800 odd eggs onthe glass :/ no idea what laid them though, but im predicting it was the bronze again, they look the same size eggs. argh! what to do :) This will be like the origional spawn where i had loads of them and lost them, not the 2nd spawn where i collected 250 and saved 99% !!! Currently looking under the staircase and working out how many tanks i could fit in there :)

edit: I collected them up and put in a pot :( uh oooh!!

 looks like you're gonna be busy

How many tanks did you decide under the stairs?

How many cories have you got?

Some of the albino eggs are turning white,so probably infertile, thought she was laying them a bit quick...

I've not got as many as you, i think last count i had: 8 venezuelan (only an inch at the moment), 6 Sterbai, 5 bronze, 4 peppered, 3 metae (Wild), 3 Delphax (Wild) and 2 Pandas.

I plan to bump them all up to 6 of each when i have a few pennies, got some pandas in the local fish shop i'll get but leaving them a few weeks while they settle into the shop. I want to get some skunks and adolfoi which i'd really like to breed.

I could get quite a few under the stairs but some would have to be on the floor which would make it a nightmare for water changes. I got some ideas :)

We got our first little person on the way in December so i cant really go too mad and fish keeping is a rather time consuming and messy hobby but i want to master breeding these bronze guys and one day have a crack at the others. Trouble is, its a little bit addictive. :)

You got a nice selection of corys :)

Adolfi corys are cute,i noticed they still had a load in MA today, unfortunately no barbels on alot of them,i did happen to mention it to the chap, has they're asking £32 if you buy 3,which i thought that was steep when i've seen them cheaper elsewhere...i only went in for a few more plants and came out with another 3 masked corys also
Thats it i'm basically upto my limit apart from the fry tank...

I hope the plan works for you :good:

Yep way too addictive....

Along with your babe coming in December,i reckon you'll also be busy with w/c's & fry at this rate

Ooo that sounds like a lush tank, could get lots of corys in there  :good:

Upgrade time for you

The albino eggs i had on the glass of the tank,i've now moved into a net,i kept accidently knocking them off and had them floating around, not good when i'm doing w/c's

yeah, its the MA Seashell one:

(not actual tank, but identical)

£850 new

Struck a deal for £280.

Been used to keep a lizard in it.

Checking it out / pickup Saturday :) Told its spotless and the seals are all fine. Worth a go, i think they look ace when setup.

Going to have to invest in an FX5 i think. My 305 Filter wont handle it :)

With it being so big, i might be able to get away with moving my Tiger Barbs into it along with my corys and Rummynose, which will free up my 90 litre for raising my cory fry. Thats the idea anyway. I'll have to see what happens.

Lush tank  i'm jealous :fun:

Have a look on zooplus for filters, always found them pretty good on price :good:

Eggs are a-hatching :hyper:

Fry now going in the fry tank, around 30 i think, hard to see them against the sand

Update - the wee albinos seem to have disappeared, unless hiding well  although me thinks the older panda fry have had a munch... :grr:
