What are you doing today?

I would feel like doing something we called "Ski Boot" when we where young...

You hang yourself on the bumper of a school bus when it leaves the stop, skid on your boots... And the last one standing wins !

I can remember hanging on the back of the school bus in the winter months

Those were the fun days

That Octopus riding that shark is is darn awesome :dreads:

An unsuccessful experiment on the tillering tree, also known as “making kindling”. This was a semi intentional failure. The bow was too light to hunt with, and a raw material that was new to me (rocky mountain maple), so I was pushing it to find its limits. And wow, did I. It’s pretty darn spectacular when one goes off like this.

That time of year - another day another tornado watch. Maybe they mean tomato watch ? Would you prefer watching for flying tomato or tornado ?

I remember a day when I was too young...When fish rained from the sky above...

And we are still talking about it.

Then a few years later tadpoles.

The vikings had good reasons to say "The sky is falling"

I'll take flying tomatoes for ten points.

Yesterday, I paraded around the lot, pleased as punch that there was no more snow.
This morning, it snowed like crazy.

I was lazy with the fishroom today, going out in the early afternoon. I changed water on 11 tanks, 2 x40, 3x25, 6 x 20. That took 40 minutes. Everything was running well, but right behind me, the impeller broke on a probably 20 year old aquaclear. I switched out the motor/impeller assembly. At least my timing was good. The tank went about 10 minutes without its main filtration, instead of the 3 or 4 hours it would have if I weren't being lazy about going out there in the snow squalls. I usually spend morning time there, then go out after supper.

My new batch of fishroom basil and lettuce is doing really well. Yesterday, I started my summer's tomatoes, which will not be lost to a tornado. Maybe a nor'easter gale, but....

More tanks you have.

More you have to be punctual on any frivolous things that could accumulate. And at some point, everything is...

Taking time to do "frivolous" things asap... Is the only way to at least keeping things afloat.

You are knowingly going further than you have for comfort.

😍 😍 😍
