Rugby is the game Americans couldn't play, so they invented American Football instead.

A few years ago I would have pitched a fit, as I am a huge football fan. However with all the new rule changes it can be classified as a sport for sissies with too much money in their pockets.

I used to watch football (soccer) games on TV when I was a kid, but then lost interest when the games either went corrupt (players playing incredibly stupid, it was impossible not to think our team got paid to lose, because nobody would go that soft in a match) or the national team lost its best players.

Hey Lovelies!!!

Got two filet mignoiughveous wrapped in bacon, encrusted in freshly crushed black pepper, and coarsely ground sea salt..

I am presently here getting properly inspired to cook such fine steaks by posting aboot it in Hey Lovelies..

Also I transplanted some aqua grass plants from my big tank to my small tank today..

o_O Now that's something I never thought of eating. And I just gained the status of "Danger in the kitchen" so I'm trying to stay away from the kitchen for a while...

Nope...
I eat so much chicken that I'm growing feathers. Rarely some grilled beef, and just recently... sausages. I cooked them, and managed to splatter oil all over the kitchen AND get oil burn on a hand. Lol...

I hate cooking.

off to fire up the weber an eat them steaks..

later everybody, or so i has heard..

The U.S. has a Rugby team? Can't be too good, what with all the athletes here playing sports where they can make money, and still have teeth. d:D

hey lovlies!

bit of a sad day today tbh. had to put my first fish "down" it was a chinese algea eater. only young but it kept chasing my cory cats and mollies but obviously cory cats > CAE. i rang around a lot of LFS yesterday even the place i brought it from and they wouldnt take it back. even though they wrongfully sold it to me after telling them the size of my tank and what not.

couldnt get hold of any clove oil either so i had to do it the old fashion way! i feel guilty now but what can i do aye?

other than buy another fish to replace it....

Hey Lovelies!

I hooked up the Rena XP3 in my 36 gallon and holy carp, it was like a washing machine it was so powerful. I adjusted the spray bar a bit & now the fish don't seem to mind.

I also moved my Penguin 200 to my 20 gallon sand tank & it seems to be doing good also. I left the Topfin 20 on it for now since it was already established. I'll be doing water changes on both 20 gallon tanks later today.

I want to think Dieses Madchen for suggesting that I check craigslist for used canister filters. I also want to thank FishFanatic & Oldman47 for recommending the Rena Filstar filters. This filter is so quiet and smooth running. My tank is super clear & I don';t even have the polishing pad in it yet.

To keep with crazy theme of this thread, I put down about 9 beers and had grilled bratwurst and Kraft mac & cheese with corn.

All in all it was a great Saturday here in North Carolina!
