And videos...

And you may be wondering what those antennae are? I have a mated pair of Coral banded shrimp (Stenopus hispidus). There is the smaller golden banded coral shrimp which is Caribbean but the standard coral banded is also found in the Caribbean, and that is where this pair was sourced. :) They are elegant and splendid to look at. They are fed mysis along with my jawfish.

Thanks for looking.

It's getting popular in the US as people are figuring out the benefits of having certain kinds of macro algae. It does a lot of good with regard to nutrient export. :) It looks pretty. You are a little limited with your CUC and some stock, though. Can't have the livestock munching on the macro algae.

I want to add some Protopalythoa grandis & Bull's eye zoanthids. I've got a splitting Ricordea florida, so I need to make sure I find a good spot for it.

Did these algae grow already or did they just stretch out a bit after you attached them?! I love the videos of the jawfish and agree with you: great little fish!

No, they grew.

Hard to say what's my favorite fish. I've got a few species that I really enjoy. My panda goby in my 4g is really cool too. Can't wait to see what the chalk bass do.

I love this scape, great work on a corner tank, have you added the Chalk Bass yet? I love the biotope theme!

Loving the chalk bass! Them and Tobacco bass are massively underrated!!

Tank looks really great!

On a sad note, Mr. Spinypants is dead. :( Found him this morning. Granted when he went through the tank's cycle and lost all his spines, I wasn't expecting much, but I thought he'd pull through. He never really regrew the spines well, though. Too much damage. He tried really hard.

I'm sad. Was gunning for him. Sigh. Me being anal, though, I checked all my params, everything's in great shape. :(

:rip: Mr. Spinypants

Dont forget pictures!

Well, unfortunately I didn't get the chalk bass today. One of them, in my very picky opinion, was not up to my standards. I don't purchase fish that aren't perfect. I'll give it a week to recover. If I don't see improvement in a week, I won't buy them. Here's a picture if the quartet though. She's holding them for me.
