You've broken your coccyx in the past?

That is a tell-tale sign and just reinforces the need for a full cauda equina scan since any injury there will go into arthritis and trap the nerves...the cauda equina

It is actually classed as a medical emergency if the scan reveals even the slightest cauda equina, leaving it too long and the coccyx turns arthritic, fuses and all the nerves to your legs, pelvic area, bladder, bowel...everything from waist down stops working. The only way to reverse it is decompressing the coccyx, usually removing the damaged area completely to allow full nerve transmission.

This is something I know about.....trust me, you REALLY need to get a proper cauda equina scan with the correct contrast used and a neuro-spinal specialist to read the scans.

Thats very true. And im constantly looking for ways. Right now the best way is walker/wheelchair/crutches and a million splints and braces to keep me in place lol. Laying down is the best position for me, if i sit its painful if i stand i get fainty

Push for it, refuse to leave til he arranges it before you leave that day.....do NOT take no for an answer.

Too many people with cauda equina syndrome are missed cos their doctors dismissed it as growing pains or sciatica or "just a bit stiff" or "must have walked off a bit" or "probably just slept wrong"

Put your foot down and demand that you have the full cauda equina scan with gadolinium contrast

Man, that is one beautiful dog. Thanks for sharing him.
Actually I could have showed him but had no interest in that. Just out of curiosity I looked up the 'specs' for a Lab and he was dead center on everything. He had like 11 champs along with 3 best of shows just on his sire's side. I got him totally cheap as he was the last of the litter and the people just wanted to be done with it; I only paid $175.00 USD.

As I said, he was 100 pounds of solid muscle and here is an example. I have no idea where the beam of light came from. :dunno: You don't see a lot of Labs like this and, yes, his tail was a weapon. ;)
