Bless..! Congrats on the new fry..! what cories are they?

wow that was lucky :good: ,you may have some more fry in the tank that's already hatched it they were that close

Do they look like the cauds or the golds? :)

Too hard to say, I would imagine the caudimaculatus though these seem much smaller, so you never know lol. The size of them, if there are any in the tank there are too many opponents to eat them and too tiny for me to spot and get too in time. Have to wait and see if they grow like the other two lol.

Make or break? The two fry that seem to be growing well (always think touch wood). Unsure whether to move them out of their koi pond net into a breeder trap which would definately give them more room. Would have to apply tights to the bottom to help keep food there as these guys arent quick eaters. Unsure as last time tried this with the remainder of pygmies, they ended up dying and unsure if this was due to inaccess to food or whatever struck the pygmy adults.

Update piccy time!

Thanks guys really anxious that these make it as grown very attached to them. Lets see born 19 December, they are 6 weeks is this a good age?

Hi lilacamy931 :)

They are looking very good! Keep up the good work.:D

 Thank you, I have a little news this morning. Found 10 eggs :hyper: It was a shame as it looks like the community snacked on a lot as there were empty cases etc. Believe this spawn was brought on by the Monday water change ans suspect the caudimaculatus again. There seems to be two stages on the eggs, cant decide if 4 are not developed or not, so have separated these entirely to their own section to give them a chance if they are going to develop. The other eggs are in the newly just hardened stage, so here is hoping I have luck raising these.

p.s. How on earth do we get attached and in love with these little things. Im unsure if it is because I lost all those pygmy fry but these two caudis are really precious, I forget their nighttime feed last night and ended up getting up out of bed to make sure they were ok and feed them"! yes my partner thinks Im crazy!
