I Almost Grew Two Feet

Wrasse is still doing great, eating like a pro. Still a little shy. Him and leopard wrasse met and they are completely OK with each other.

More piccys! So difficult to capture his color well.

And the chili coral opened up

I've heard that chilli corals prefer to be upside down and will turn down in right side up, glueing it under a cave ridge in shade and high flow seems the norm.

Oh you lucky girl, that is a cracker of a wrasse - will you add a photo to the fish of the week thread for wrasses please - he is gorgeous

And, a new FTS. Mr. Pretty ended up in dead center. The other three fish are in the bottom right corner together. I messed around with the aquascape a little bit again. Derasa clam moved itself that way...

Getting him a yellow and pink friend :)

Work is getting a TON of corals in tomorrow... gonna stop by and probably bring some friends home :)

I really wish I had extra $1,000 to start a 55USG reef but, sadly I can barely afford $20 a month on my Planted tank.

Mate, god knows how I missed this. It looks great, really coming along nicely. You got some lovely corals there and as Seffie said that wrasse is a cracker

Keep us posted and well done,

James

So I couldn't resist and I changed my bulbs again... now they are...

Full tank shot tomorrow when everything is nice and open.
More corals coming next week :)

very nice corals

Rhomboid wrasse's left eye is looking a little cloudy tonight... nothing absolutely obvious but definitely not correct... Keeping an eye on him. Soaked their food in vitamins and garlic.

Switched the powerheads around... Pointed the big one up and moved the little one to blow into the NPS section. Better this way I think.
Finally getting some coralline algae on the glass and equipment and most importantly, the rocks :)

Water Stats tonight:
pH: 8.3
dKH: 12 (Don't know why it went up, usually steady at 10)
Density: 1.025
NO3: 3.0 ppm :)))
Phosphates: 0 ppm
Calcium: 360 ppm
Magnesium: 1215 ppm

Corals coming in the mail tomorow... Will post pictures then.

the new corals look spot on Nemo looking forward to thosebeing established

excuse me if I;ve missedsomething but is this the same tank thats in your sig? of so what happened to all those corals and the gorgeous clam you had in there?

Simon

Haha Simons :p The tank is twice as big! The one in my sig was my 29g... This is 75G. Everything from there is in the 75G including the clam, the pictures just don't do him justice.

Wrasse is looking good... cloudy eye might just have been a fluke. Still watching him.

5 New corals today... Some are not settles in yet. Will post them when they are.

Yellow tubastrea... Will get another picture when I get him to open and eat. I put him there, hoping the monti above him will grow out and shade him.

Scoly Brain that GAB insisted that I buy... (Odd story there...) Wasn't expected him to be quite so big. a good 3.5-4" in diameter... Pretty regardless.

Neon green trumpet... Picture came out bad color-wise... It makes it look blue-ish. It's really BRIGHT green.
