James: I would say it's in combination of my T5 bulb choice as well as Vitamin C addition :good:

Couple more pictures... Didn't feel well last night so I didn't bother with getting the tubastrea to open. I'll try tonight.

I had never heard of this coral until I discovered it for sale... Look very similar (structure wise) to star polyps, with very small polyps. Beautiful coral though. I'm hoping the green brightens up more on them. It's called a sympodium. It's suppose to grow very quickly.

Close up of the chili coral... He's doing great. I'm trying to get him to stay open all day, he's just so beautiful. Currently have him staying open for 2 or 3 hours after the lights turn on.

1 GE 6000k
1 CL 10000k
2 ATI Blue plus

I messed around with it a lot until I got the right combo...

You wouldn't believe the hassle I went through to get it!! Tried three times before from the same seller to no avail, but am very happy to have it now.

Water stats tonight:
pH: 8.1
dKH: 12 (no idea why it went up from 10)
Density: 1.025
NO3: 0ppm (FINALLY@@@@!!)
Phosphates: 0ppm
Calcium: 380ppm

Rhomboid wrasse's eye had gotten better yesterday, but tonight it definitely is cloudy again.. Looks worse than before too. Starting to worry me. Fed him the garlic/vitamin mysis combo along with some pellets... Keeping an eye on him still, he's still acting normal and eating like a pig.

I use several different places for coral. I get a lot from my work, and have several reputable places online. That most recent order did come from ebay, there is a seller on there that I love doing business with.

Ah thought so with all the bidding going around lol! Either way its absolutely beautiful! Love the coral in your tank!

EDIT: went to LFS today and they have two frags of that same sympodium. Resisted buying it and went for metallic green star polyps instead!

Shame you live state side or I would of begged for a frag (the coral wouldn't survive the swim home I think)

So Wrasse's cloudy eye has cleared up again... Don't know what's going on with that. It's driving me crazy.

Got that large yellow/orange tubastrea to open up last night :) Fed him some yummy shrimp!

Today's plan is to do some fragging... blueish-greenish Palys are overtaking my orange ricordia :(

btw nemo (that sounds so wierd to me now lol) i did some looking up and some people think that the sympodium is another xenia species and its also confused with blue xenia as well, just FYI
