beloved betta killed by satin spawn

i dint say you werent well educated. it just make sme think otherwise when you spell every fourth word wrong, including the title of the post. when i read it, i thought your betta was killed during spawning with a satin (type of betta) betta. satan is spelled with an "a"
i dont know what high honors is but i guess its a thing they do in ninth grade ro something.

you act like you are not sorry though because you keep defending your actions so visciously. i am glad if you are truly sorry.
this isnt just about you. other people may be doing the same things to aggressive fish and i want them to know there are other options.

if you think the post here are mean, dont ever leave your house. the real world is a bit more unforgiving than someone like me.
i was in no way trying to be mean though. im just saying there are gaps in your story and i dont want you to kill another fish. i understand that you are sorry for doing it. i accept your apology but you dont really need to apologize to me.
i dont think i am rude either. if you post things on a forum, they are not just your business anymore. you throw them out for everyone to discuss.
sorry if i have to be harsh to stand up for an innocent fish, but its life is more important to me than your "feelings"
there are other people reading this post and the same thing could happen to them (i hope they know to prevent it though). they will now know not just to get angry and torture the fish.
i mentioned your spelling because your posts often arent clear. you kept telling me i was reading them incorrectly and i said that if you would make them more clear, i could understand them better and not misinterpret them.

its total bs that someone with supposed knowledge would tell you to kill the fish the way you did
any store will usually readily take a fish off you hands providing you don't ask anything for it
what you did was disgusting
if your not mature enough to find a new home for a fish rather then euthanize it
then you are not mature enough to be a fish owner
i fear for your other fish
if THEY slip up, then they will suffer a horrible fate aswell

if you had any sense in you,
you would know that fish don't have the same morals as humans
it is not "murder" to a fish
if they feel threatened or they feel the need to be compeditive, they go by instincts
a mature person would find a suitable home
like a larger, less occupied, and more planted tank
your molly could have been perfect for someone else

its sad that people like you don't see fish as full time pets, but rather "convenience" pets
little do you know it is still abuse to "torture" a fish
the way you "euthanized" your fish is like beating a puppy to death with a baseball bat because it dug a hole in the yard, or chewed your favorite pair of shoes,
something that is instinct to a dog

ya know it, i said so many times i felt bad about it but there was nothing else i could do. and this was bout how my betta died. not about the molly. i feel bad enough about my mistake of putting the betta in with the molly and all you people care about is the molly, not how its victums feel, or me, or anyone but that one fish

and there is nothing spelled wrong! you spell wrong to sometimes i bet. maybe i cant spell euthanise or whatever, who cares

it was your fault that the betta died aswell
where was the molly again? was it in the 15 or the 3 gallon?
if the 3 gallon then it was WAY too small (no room for territory) , and as someone else said, mollies are semi-aggressive
and if it was the 15 gallon, you should have been monitoring the fish
if you see any agression, take it out

even if it happened as a complete fluke and it couldn't be stopped
the fact that you added to the body count is disgusting
we feel for ALL of your fish,
dead or alive
but what you did was far more af a sin then what the molly supposedly did
you are SUPPOSED to have a much higher intelligence then a fish
and morals for that matter
what the molly did was instinct

yell at them, and i think you are all imature if something like this is going to make you all so crazy. if u dont get it now that i had no chioce AND I DIDNT EVEN KILL THE FISH then you are all so dence. i cant believe that something like euthanising a fish would get people so crazy. i couldnt do anything else w/the fish. and it got eaten by the gourami and i dont care. the fish died, get over it.

you dont seem to understand...cutting off the head of a fish because its sick and has no hope left...kills it instanlty...bashing it on the head hard for bigger fish...kills it instantly...what you did was prolong suffering...if you really wanted it dead...why didn't you just cut its head off?

im sorry but because we care for the life of a fish does not make us immature. i think it is the exact opposite. there are 11 year olds on this board that show more maturity and responsibility than you do. (but i dont know how old you are-you could be 8 for all i know...)
once again, you should not be keeping fish if you have such a low level of responsibility.
and once again, you did NOT euthanize the fish. as devilsadvocate said, hammers and scissors provide quick deaths for suffering fish. torture provides long painful deaths for fish who are quite healthy. the reason the molly was killed by the gourami was because it was weak.
you said you felt bad about the molly so i assumed you were sorry. i guess not.
i thought you were leaving anyways...

ill leave as soon as this post is not being critised anymore. but i can always change my mind. and do u know if the fish was weak? for your information, the fish was just fine, i saw it swimming around chasing others. and im sorry, but im ver responsible and mature. and im not 8! i take care of all the fish, every tank, i feed them, i have to fix the decorations when noone else does anything. thats a personal attack ya know, wuv said no more ad ya still did. i can keep fish and i will. just because i wanted to put one fish down doesnt mean that im as horrible as u make it sound. coldwater isnt tourture, id say what those ppl. do is tourture. you dont seem to care about the others though. they get toutured and stressed, and if you think they dont im sorry, but you should se how afraid of they were. i care about the others more than just the one. and i did feel bad, but you all kept posting posting, etc after you said you stop.

my words an opinions are on here too. just because you started it, doesnt mean its yours. you just dig yourself deeper in your hole when you say that you are responsible because you feed the fish and move the decorations. true hobbyists have to do a lot more than that. i honestly dont think you are any older than 10 because i have never seen anoyne over 10 that acts the way you do. you wont accept constructive criticism. you think i am attacking you. thats how children think.

i put him in feezing water. i stabbed it w/the net. i took him out of water, took away the air stone.

thats how i know the fish was suffering.
