I agree, (sorry been really busy with work lately so missed this), that LED is great!! Photo's don't do LED's justice IMO, they look better in the flesh. I like the shimmer they give off. Really good scape though mate, keep it up!

@ Mishmash, thanks mate, I'll post up a write up of the LED's at some point, I'm loving the way they bring out the greens more than the old lighting, gotta stain it and laquer the steel lid yet and I'll sort the write up then mate.


@ Ian, thanks again , it's been a struggle to get the lighting right, had to change lens angles yesterday from 45 to 60 degree to spread the light better but the HC is picking up now so fingers crossed I got it right. Yeah the shimmer is awesome, I finished the same lighting for Eden yesterday too so I'll throw up some pics tonight, with all 3 LED set up it looks quite pleasant now.

Thanks KVG, had a little move round today, the islands weren't allowing my HC to spread very well so I've gone for a triangle with less of a carpet. Now tho the HC shouldn't be at all over shadowed, just finished sorting it out and the lights go off at 10pm so I'll throw a couple of pictures up tomorrow.

All tanks being closed, recently got knocked on a CO2 kit by another forum member, didn't buy any liquid carbon, so now my tanks and plants are slaughtered with algae and the plants are all dying, giving up.

everything has melted, all crypts are gone or going and major algae due to no co2. Sorry guys, gonna take a miracle, thanks for the offer livewire but everythings melted it too late now mate.

After my own recent fish keeping nightmare, I have experience in everything going wrong. Don't pack it in. You really inspire a lot of people. Once you stop being mod edit off about the co2, start planning your next masterpiece!
