Anyone Want To Rant? About Anything? I Do.

My rant of the day is at my boss for not letting us know what our days off are for next week.

I really need to book myself an eye test as my sight's been getting worse recently and I keep getting headaches. I suspect that by the time I know when I'm available for a test, all the slots will have been taken though

Your health should come before work, phone your boss and ask him for an hour or two off, or as him which days you're free instead of waiting to be told.

Ok, I have a few.

These useless solicitors I'm with, they won't pull their fingers out and even phone the other parties insurance company. (Long story, been going on near three years, they drove into the back of my car and wrecked my back, had operations etc on it since then and still no better, my insurance has gone up because there is a "claim pending" and the other party say it was me who hit them. ) so I'm really thinking about changing solicitors. She's worse than useless.

Next is,

I've to go to a hotel this weekend as part of my counselling degree as I only do the course in the evenings once a week and I'm not looking forward to it. It will be just loads of classes which I don't mind but there is this nutty girl there who won't leave me alone who keeps coming onto me before class. I've told my tutor about this and its just been made into a joke. Even my girlfriend finds it hilarious.
I'm really going to have to tell her in the most horrible way possible that I'm not interested and that I have a girlfriend. I've tried it with being nice and its only got worse.

Next and final one is,

Why are there things called "teacher training days"? Who invented them? Any other job you do your supposed to be trained before you do the job, not on-going. I think they're taking the #101##.

though it depends how safe your job is but, in the UK.
they cant stop you. you have a right to attend medical this includes dental and eye checks. (as far as i know/experienced). appointments. and not on your day off. they can be taken during working hours.
come to that, technically, you should have your working hours sorted, by now.

though, in the UK today. you tend to get treated like you are cheating if you are ill or have appointments.

for my rant:

according to the government, soon, you will have no employment rights.
they are already, virtually, impossible to use. as legal aid has been withdrawn from employment cases.

People that can't drive really tick me off. I mean, what do people think the stripy white lines in the middle of the road mean? Is it A) please use me as a second lane, B) this is a good place for pedestrians to stand and talk to their friends who are stuck in traffic, or C) GET OUT OF HERE!! And another thing, when I'm trying to get out of my road onto the roundabout and you see me waiting, why would you then drive into the KEEP CLEAR box and trap me in? Also, would it kill you to indicate once in a while?! Jeeeez...

sounds like most women drivers ;)

odd comment, dont you think?
until recently, insurance for woman was much cheaper than the equivalent for men.
as insurance company's are not known for giving away money.
one can only assume, women are less likely to crash, therefore are safer drivers.
the only problem with women drivers is, the Male ego!

My rant for today; people who pick up their dog poop and then chuck the bag in the hedge :grr:

I mean, why?! If you can't take it home, then it's better off left than stuck in a bag; at least it'll biodegrade then. Honestly, it's disgusting

Ignorant pet owners in general get on my nerves. Well, ignorant people full stop.
Until very recently, we lived in a lovely big house next door to a church. Even though it was on the nice side of town, there seemed to be a lot of drug users around there. I guess the church yard seemed the perfect place to do their deals etc. But the thing that bothered me the most is this: when they were done with their dirty needles, you know what they did? They threw them over our fence and into our garden. We were finding 100s of these things and didn't want to let our dog out unsupervised just in case she stood on one. We let that house out to a family with 2 small children. What if they had picked one up? People make me sick.

So, here is my rant. I'm in college and dorm room next to me has two guys in it who smoke. I know a lot of people smoke and if buying death on a light up stick makes people happy, then go ahead. I couldn't really care. The problem is though, they smoke so much that their room smells. For those of you who are not familiar with the laws at my school, it's a Christian college and smoking is not allowed on campus, but like 30 feet from our door is a place for people to smoke - dubbed the smokers corner- and they smoke there. But the smell lingers on them and penetrates every orifice of their room. The smell has now moved into the hallway and some days you can't smell it and other days it smells like stale ciggs and moth balls. So it's smelled like that the past 2 days and it's very irritating. The same two guys also don't know how to take care of their dishes. I go downstairs and wash mine. They go into the bathroom, dump their ramen noodles into the sink, fill up their bowls and coffee mugs with water and leave them sit in the bathroom for days before they pick it up. It's disgusting and not considerate.

So yeah, that's my rant. I wish people thought of others and not just themselves.

New rant, teenagers.

Foul mouthed, emotinally immature, clueless, horrible wee brats.
I'm not speaking about all teens, just a few I seen and heard today. Calling this one and that one names, making fun of them and generally being cruel.
I was seriously shocked to hear it. I know it happens everywhere but maybe I just had the blinkers on that it happens in my nice wee town.
These brats were in their later teens and i believed children were becomming more mature these days, obviously not.
I know mine would act or behave in such a manner but if they were along with others who were doing it too then who knows.

I'd be so sad if one of mine was to be treating others like that.

Corydoras isn't a plural!!!
