I actually have one of those, and they are pretty small, probably about 1/4th gallon. I had a baby female in mine for a while til she got bigger then added her to my 10 gallon..so I think it would be fine to put a really small baby female in there. just make sure you do every other day water...

well yes there are bettas that change colors, mostly all of them while they are growing to adult, but specifically marbles throughtout there entire life. so maybe that is what she has.

what exactly is a lyretail betta supposed to look like? i saw one on the net once on a sight but to me it looked like a betta with bad fin rot and jaggedy fins..

um well it depends on how much you are feeding them.. if you give them alot yes their tummies will look fat and bloated. I usually only give mine 3 or 4 bw if that all im feeding them that morning or night.

not everyones order is going to be perfect, especially with how many shipments they have demanded. And some people are easily ticked off, i could give a perfect example but i wont, so they write negative feedback if everything isnt perfect to a T. Especially if there fish are DOA if they didnt...

yes I would def. check it out if I were you. There website is not something to desire though, they have no pics up of there fish or anything just commercial stuff. If the warehouse bettas are as good as the ones I get from them, then you will be very happy.

i think the aqua view hex's they sell are really good, they are one gallon and come with a light and undergravel filter (that I always take out, its useless) and are perfect for a betta. I dont reccomend using a lees small bettahex but I do have one of my bettas in one and he is happy, but he is...

yes i know the bettas are from there, ive watched them be delivered many times. Just because you have bad experiences with petco, walmart, and heavenly fish doesnt mean everybody else does :rolleyes:

well I live in New Hampshire, and heavenly fish delivers to my lfs that I love, and they have gorgeous healthy bettas. they have some cts, vts, and sd's. I have boughten 3 bettas from them and they are about the healthiest fish I have ever had. I'm sure there are a few heavenly fish departments...

I agree, he wouldnt have died from eating just bloodworms..unless he got a bad case of swimbladder but you would have noticed that. sorry about his death :sad:

I dont know much about how corys breed but I have 3 in my community tank and one of the albinos has a very big gravid spot. I'm guessing this means its a she and shes pregnant. Are corys egg layers or livebearers? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I honestly have no idea.

ice heard its high in protein and alot of asian breeders use it, but its very messy and will foul the water quickly. goodluck with your fry!

i just read about this, they are called Fits, or in other words small seizures. Gerbils are prone to having them and its genetic, and it said usually harmless, but id still get him checked out.
