Heavenly Fish

im anti-bad things... (basically anything that has to do with mistreatment or abuse of animals or rude people/business is bad to me. is that absurd or something?)
the only experience i have had with them was awful. thye have awful feedback. thats what i am basing my non-patronage on. i doubt actually going to the warehouse will be such a bad experience. i said that before.

i just checked the feedback. 29 different users left negative feedback, not 3. 20 different people left neutral feedback.
that may be alright for you, but i would never bid on someones auction knowing they had that kind of feedback.

not everyones order is going to be perfect, especially with how many shipments they have demanded. And some people are easily ticked off, i could give a perfect example but i wont, so they write negative feedback if everything isnt perfect to a T. Especially if there fish are DOA if they didnt use express mailing they will blame it on the seller when its not the sellers fault. Anyways all I know is the fish I've gotten from them are the healthiest and most beautiful and I've yet to see a sick one from them. The store that gets there fish from there, I usually go to on wednesday when the guy from heavenly fish delivers them and ive yet to see a dead fish arrive.

I noticed they have a lot of newbies leaving bad feedback right off the bat. The screwed up my order I was pateint with them and they replaced without charging more....and Betty was very nice...mistakes happen and since I gave them the benefiet of the doubt, they came through....so one cannot expect them to be perfect , but they can expect them to be honest and do the right thing...

Looks like some people wanting to leave negative feedback.... They have 478 positive feedback out of 600 not great but a mojority of the people thay make happy.

i think the only shipping they use is airborne overnight. and they still seem to have too many DOAs for me.
i especially like the feedback comment the girl in alaska wrote about them not including a heat pack...
i thought betty was very rude to me, but maybe she was having a bad month or something (yes it takes forever to answer emails so we were exchanging over the course of a month)

if i lived up north, i would check the warehouse out and probably not have a problem bying from them but i definately wont do it online...except maybe for plants or other non-fish items.

heat packs are extra and it was april, you know in april here it is close to 90 degrees....she should have told them it was still cold there. If one talks to Betty she will respond and talk to ya...
I think they are getting a bum rap...

Hi slamster17 :)

Buying a fish that you can actually see in person is a whole different matter than buying one online. I don't think that feedback on ebay will accurately reflect the condition of the fish you can purchase in person.

I live on Long Island and have a very good lfs. I'll be going there within the next few days and when I do I'll ask for some information for you. Whether or not they buy any of their stock from there, they will have heard of them and know if they have a good reputation in the trade.
