plakats and platties?

I know that most bettas can go with platties. I minght be getting a 5 or so gallon critter keeper for my new one, so I wanted some tank mates for him, but he kinda scares me a bit.

He looks really mean, and i saw his teeth, because his mouth seems open alot, and theyre really pointy and I'm afraid that he will kill the platties. I wouldnt be afriad with my others, but this one just looks mean, lol.

what are you talking about teeth? bettas dont have teeth, you said your afraid it will kill the platies cause of its teeth, but what is "it"?

the plakat. It opened its mouth and there were all these sharp looking things in the mouth. Are you sure they dont have teeth?

bittersweet, bettas do have teeth as far as i know. otherwise fighting them would do no good as they couldnt rip or tear at the other betta. ive never tried it wrs but as you probly know plakads are alot more agressive, so be careful when doing anything with plakads.

Maybe if it's just 5 gallons he'd be better off having it to himself.
