Just had a look on the net boboboy is correct.but i cant find any documentary evidence to say a shoal of paranhas have actually killed anyone, bitten yes.But i have seen films of killer piranhas out for human flesh...And the films were laughably crap B films....

I am positive that there has been no cases documented of piranha's attacking people or eating people(unless they were dead in the water in the first place..perhaps).Perhaps you have seen to many films...yes owners have had bites....but eating people come on...I would like to see the evidence for...

if they were dwarf gouramis...notorious for bacterial infections and i believe that the stock we get nowadays are very poor quality. I will not keep them anymore because of this. :no:

well its a safty thing if co2 production starts to decline there is a good chance it will back syphon and the yeast mix might go into your tank...which you dont want at all...so what deffuser is it?

remember the bigger the tank the more work it is to change, water and gravel/sand. the more it costs to heat/light. I totally disagree with the more work it is to change.....there are ways and means to make life easier with big tanks.....i just use water pumps from water butts to fill and...

have you checked the diffuser to see its not blocked....otherwise very strange...........you should have a loop on top to stop the aquarium water back siphoning

are you using tepid water, you can't put hot water in or cold as it wont work,mine takes about a day to start getting a good flow.

I have the same problem with my fluval 204,So this is what i do After maintenence,fill your tank up.Open the water valve so the filter will fill.....Pump like hell on the primer then fill the tank up to the water level of your tank so that the outlet will fill.Then a few more pumps of the primer...
